FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get involved in London Rum Week and attend the various events?

There are some events that are free to attend. However if an event is a ticketed event ie. a seminar or pairing event and you are required to book tickets in advance there will be a link on the Event Calendar page in the information on this particular event where you will be able to click though and purchase tickets via their online ticketing site. If tickets are available at the start of the event they will be sold on site at registration.

Keep checking the Events Calendar page which will get updated daily to find out all the events taking place on each day.

Do I need to bring my online ticket and photo ID?

If the event you are attending needs to be booked then yes. Follow the information on the Events Calendar page to book your place or buy tickets for the event. Please bring your online ticket and also your photo ID. Please remember some events will be free to attend.

Will my tickets be mailed to me?

No. For ticketed events, once you book online you will be sent an online ticket that you should print out and take with you to the event. You may require to show a photo ID to confirm your identity/age.

How often will the website be updated with new events?

The site will be updated weekly so please do keep checking back with us as new events will be added very often.

Do I have to be a certain age to attend any of the events?

Yes. All London Rum Week promoted events for the over 18’s therefore ID may be required when arriving at your event. Please note, we adhere to the Challenge 25 policy so don’t be offended if you’re lucky enough to look younger than your years.

I’m new to London, what’s the best way of getting around during the week?

The quickest way to get round London is the Underground. You can pick up a free map at any station. A weekly travel pass is available to buy from any underground station. This also allows you unlimited use of all underground train services in zones 1 & 2 and London buses. Many bus routes are 24-hour and night services often operate (though may take a slightly different route). Please check each individual bus stop for information.
